  Jonathan P. Garino, MD is a Partner in the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Center, which recently merged with Premier Orthopedics. In addition, our group has  established a new orthopedic surgery Partnership with Phoenixville Hospital.  Jonathan Garino is a board certified, fellowship trained joint replacement surgeon that joined Pennsylvania Orthopedic Center following his many years in practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as   Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Director of the Adult Reconstructive service and Director of the Adult Reconstructive Fellowship.  Dr. Garino is well known for his major academic and clinical teaching, his research and writings, and as an invited guest lecturer by his colleagues. He is an international expert on Bearing Materials in Joint replacement surgery and also has significant experience in areas of complex joint replacement and revision of failed or infected joint replacements. Dr. Garino also served as president of the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society, and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society.
